This week-end was the first round of the Women's Motocross World Championship.
I was expecting this week-end to be a tough one as it's never easy to come back from a so long injury.
On Saturday morning I had some problems on the timed practice and I could only get the 6th time.
I did a nice start in the first moto but I could quickly see that I couldn't get the same pace as Laier and Fontanesi. I also got passed by Papenmeier, Fiolek and Franke. I ended up this race in 6th place, I couldn't find the good lines nor a good pace.
We decided on Saturday night with the team to completely change the suspensions settings, as it looked obvious that the bike was moving a lot during that race. Sunday warm up went a lot better, I could ride fast without the fear of falling down.
But to end up that week-end in the best possible way, I stalled the bike on the start of the second moto!
I gave everything I had to come back from the very last position. Two laps from the checkered flag I came back to 4th in Franke and Fontanesi's wheels, but I lost some time behind lappers and lost the pace to get the podium.
I finished this moto in 4th place which is also my overall ranking.
Now I only have one goal in mind : the next round at Agueda.
